The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), Ireland’s nursing regulatory body, has amended the minimum OET grade requirement for nurses that have been trained overseas.
This means that nurses and midwives who wish to register and work in Ireland no longer need a B in Writing, it is now C+ and this can be retroactively applied for two years. Other changes include OET Listening and Reading grades, which have changed from C+ to B.
