The Occupational English Test is an English language test for healthcare professionals – it is not a test of your medical knowledge.
There are four parts of the test: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Each part of the test assesses your understanding of English in a workplace-related healthcare context. The speaking and writing sub-tests are specific to your profession.
The examination assesses your ability to communicate effectively in English in a healthcare context. This differs from other forms of English language examination like the IELTS.
