What is the Winter by the Sea programme like?

In this unique programme students can choose between 15 hours of General English or 23 hours Intensive English. This is combined with exciting excursions and activities each week.

Lessons:

  • Maximum class size: 15
  • Multi-national classes
  • Use of academic course book and additional materials
  • First day placement test
  • End of course certificate

Activities and excursions:

  • 5 city based or local day visits and 2 evening activities per week
  • Sample excursions may include London, Oxford, Windsor or Isle of Wight

What is included in the programme?

  • Residential programme: Full board (breakfast at residence, lunch and dinner at BSC Brighton)
  • 1 full day excursion every 2 weeks and 1 half day excursion per week, and daily activities to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Quad and twin rooms available (single occupancy available at a supplement)
  • Either 15 hours of General English lessons or 23 hours of Intensive English lessons

Student Welfare

We’re focused on creating a welcoming, safe environment for your children.

Students are supervised in small buddy groups, by trained team members that meet our strict recruitment criteria. We look out for your child’s happiness, health and safety during their stay, from providing a variety of healthy meals at the cafeteria to organising lots of active and creative social events. If students have any concerns during their stay, there's always a friendly, qualified member of our team to listen and help them.
