Trainee Testimonials

"The CELTA is so much more than I thought it would be and I would go so far as to say it has changed my life.

Bold words and I didn’t expect to say that when I embarked on this but I believe it to be true.

Many, many thanks to all."

"I think the enjoyable nature of it came from the dedication and hard work of the tutors.

They were always on hand to help us whenever we had any issues and their knowledge was extraordinary.

I can safely say that I’ve learned far more in these 4 weeks than I did in my entire 4-year university experience."

Ilya, Fast Track Online CELTA

Methodology of Language Teaching & Learning

This involves the analysis and appreciation of various methods, styles and strategies for both language teaching and learning. You are also introduced to a range of teaching aids and classroom management techniques.

The course is very practical in nature and teaching practice takes place using Zoom under the guidance of your tutor. Course time is set aside for the preparation of these lessons and your tutor will assist and guide you throughout your time with us. You will gain experience in teaching at two distinct levels.

Written Assignments

Candidates need to complete 4 written assignments which range from formal language analysis to a study of teaching materials. They are graded on a pass or fail basis and candidates must pass 3 out of 4 assignments.

Trainee Testimonials

"The consistency, professionalism and availability of my tutors have enabled me to complete this course.

They found a way to challenge me and encourage me in the right ratio. Those tutors have been, for me, the best thing about this course.

They have demonstrated the qualities that we need to adopt in our own work."

“CELTA is such a short and intensive course and it can feel a bit of a whirlwind experience, so I am always finding innovative and creative ways to communicate the key ideas, ensuring they are easily retained. Lately I have been studying Experience Design, looking at how to make teaching training a truly positive, memorable and beautiful experience”
