Walnut is a Persian staple on Manchester’s infamous ‘curry mile,’ offering up high-quality food and excellent service. The restaurant regularly receives 5-star reviews on Tripadvisor for its big portions and tasty lamb dishes. Just make sure you make a reservation- as it books up pretty quickly!

Named one of the best restaurants in Manchester by the Telegraph, BBC Good Food guide and Manchester Evening news, it’s not surprising that Mughli is one of the most popular restaurants on the ‘curry mile.’ The restaurant serves up Indian soul food alongside a great range of alcohol-free cocktails and never seems to disappoint.

Prominent Halal food blogger, Halal girl about town, recently did a review of this trendy brunch spot and loved it. Evelyn’s have a varied and up-to-date menu including a yummy fried chicken burger as well as the millennial classic- avocado on toast!

Just around the corner from BSC Manchester, Jasmine is a relaxed Lebanese restaurant right in the heart of the city. The restaurant serves up an excellent range of traditional Lebanese dishes all served up with a nice stack of fluffy pitta.

If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion, then Asha is the place. This high-class restaurant is owned by the famous Bollywood singer, Asha Bhosle (from the Corner Shop Boys’ song ‘Brimful of Asha’) and offers a range of gourmet dishes inspired by her life. The food is sensational but definitely more costly than the other restaurants on our list!
