Looking Forward To The Rest Of The Summer At British Study Centres

The summer’s here! Laura is at British Study Centres and has written about her first few weeks. The weather is getting warmer, we’re having the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the Euro 2012 football tournament is getting interesting! There’s a real party atmosphere around the country and around our schools at the moment. And the London 2012 Olympics has not even started yet. If you would like to study a General English course in the UK this summer, or you a looking to study and gain work through our job club, please contact us and we can help you to choose your course for summer 2012!

This summer the whole country is covered in Union Jack flags in the colours of red, blue and white. There have been some amazing parties, festivals and events to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s diamond jubilee. And this is just the start – The London 2012 Olympics starts in July and the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations will be continuing throughout the year. Thousands of people visited London to see the Jubilee weekend on June 4th and 5th and so did many students from British Study Centres Brighton. We also had “British culture” as the speaking and listening topic for a week and at break time we had a large selection of different British cakes. The summer has just started and I’m looking forward to the rest of it!
