Brighton may not be the UK’s biggest city, but it certainly packs a whole load of restaurants into its small size. Check out this list of our favourite halal restaurants in the city to help you decide where to eat next.

Top Halal Restaurants Brighton

Kambi’s

A local Lebanese favourite, Kambi’s is known for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious shawarma. Perfect for big groups and families, it does tend to get pretty busy- so make sure you book in advance!

Taste of Sahara

With friendly staff and a mouth-watering range of Morrocan dishes, Taste of Sahara is a popular choice on Brighton’s Western Road. With stews, barbecue and a delicious ‘Arabian feast’ option, there’s something for every taste at this Brighton fave.

Ephesus

Brighton and Hove is not short of Turkish restaurants but Ephesus is definitely one of the best in town. With an excellent range of kebabs as well as vegetarian dishes and salads, Ephesus is a cosy and relaxed choice in the city centre.

Nando’s

While Brighton is certainly home to lots of locally-owned halal restaurants, it’s hard to deny the deliciousness of Nando’s spicy Piri-Piri chicken. Nando’s is a hugely popular chain in the UK and offers halal options at all of its UK restaurants. Find branches in Brighton city centre as well as at the Marina.

Al Rouche

Another Lebanese option to add to our list, Al Rouche is a laid-back family favourite on Brighton’s Preston Street, one of the best streets in the city for international cuisine.  Al Rouche has an extensive menu and is the perfect place to start an evening out.

Las Iguanas

You might not expect this Latin American-inspired restaurant to feature on a list of halal restaurants, but, the popular chain actually uses halal meat in all of its chicken, duck, goat and lamb dishes. If that wasn’t enough, they also have an extensive range of reasonably priced mocktails that are always 2 for 1! You can find Las Iguanas in Brighton town centre and at the Marina.
