A local Lebanese favourite, Kambi’s is known for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious shawarma. Perfect for big groups and families, it does tend to get pretty busy- so make sure you book in advance!
Taste of Sahara
With friendly staff and a mouth-watering range of Morrocan dishes, Taste of Sahara is a popular choice on Brighton’s Western Road. With stews, barbecue and a delicious ‘Arabian feast’ option, there’s something for every taste at this Brighton fave.
Brighton and Hove is not short of Turkish restaurants but Ephesus is definitely one of the best in town. With an excellent range of kebabs as well as vegetarian dishes and salads, Ephesus is a cosy and relaxed choice in the city centre.
While Brighton is certainly home to lots of locally-owned halal restaurants, it’s hard to deny the deliciousness of Nando’s spicy Piri-Piri chicken. Nando’s is a hugely popular chain in the UK and offers halal options at all of its UK restaurants. Find branches in Brighton city centre as well as at the Marina.
Another Lebanese option to add to our list, Al Rouche is a laid-back family favourite on Brighton’s Preston Street, one of the best streets in the city for international cuisine. Al Rouche has an extensive menu and is the perfect place to start an evening out.
You might not expect this Latin American-inspired restaurant to feature on a list of halal restaurants, but, the popular chain actually uses halal meat in all of its chicken, duck, goat and lamb dishes. If that wasn’t enough, they also have an extensive range of reasonably priced mocktails that are always 2 for 1! You can find Las Iguanas in Brighton town centre and at the Marina.
