Which course did you do with BSC and when?

I studied at BSC from September 2013 to June 2014. I did the IELTS preparation with an extra one to one lesson in the afternoon as I planned to study in the UK.

What made you choose to come and study in the UK?

I first did a Masters degree in Paris and wasn’t satisfied, something was missing! Being duel french, English I wanted to experience something new and work in the UK. My brother studied at Bath University and, following in his footsteps, I decided to undertake a Masters degree in the same university. More than just studying there, I also wanted to properly learn English, I wasn’t fluent at the time and with an English family, I had to learn!

Could you tell us a bit about your time at BSC?

I loved everything at BSC! The teachers were welcoming, friendly and really helped me on the preparation for the test. More than just the school, I have met a group of friends for life, we now live in the UK, Madrid, Turkey and we still see each other! I have met people from different countries, Venezuela, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and I had the best time!

What do you do now?

Since then, I have graduated from Bath University with an MSc in International Management and I have been working in London for the last 4 years. I am currently working as a Marketing Executive in a company that sales festival tickets and packages.

How did your course help you get there?

I couldn’t have done it without getting my IELTS exam and BSC really helped me to get where I am now!

Do you think having English language skills has helped you in your career?

Nowadays, speaking English is essential in some areas like Marketing. Companies expect us to speak one or two languages, English a must! It gave me more jobs opportunities and communicate while traveling more easier!

Would you recommend British Study Centres?

I would highly recommend everybody to join BSC, it was an incredible eight months! It gave me the confidence to reach my goal, to work in Marketing in London!
