Student Blog: Shopping in London

This week Robin's B2 class at Hampstead School of English tell us all about shopping in London!

There is a wide array of shops you can browse in London, it’s really a thrilling experience.

It’s expensive but there are fantastic/magnificent/superb offers. For example, you can buy mushrooms at a reasonable price. However, it’s often crowded. The public transport provides easy access to the shops.

Another great thing is the long opening hours of the shops. There are also outstanding book stores especially if you like detective novels. You can find a lot of souvenirs and they have peculiar key rings. What is more, it is easy to find some shops for formal clothes which were introduced in some movies.

Finally, when you finish you can guzzle hoppy and frothy ales at one of the quaint and welcoming pubs. If you feel peckish, you can splash out on a wide variety of fish at the fishmonger’s but preferably not a Blobfish. For the traveller among you it’s feasible to also find a guide to Ougadougou at Stanford’s.
