Ready for Work Programme
A 4-week General English course and 2-week unpaid training in the hospitality industry followed by paid work for successful candidates. Ideal for adventurous students wanting to improve their English as well as gain experience working abroad.
Course description: During the first 4 weeks it includes 20 lessons of General English plus 5 lessons of specific vocational training per week. It is followed by 2 weeks unpaid work placement in the hospitality industry. In addition, a job interview for paid work is guaranteed on successful completion of the training.
A BSC certificate is awarded at the end of the 6-week course. Candidates who successfully complete the work placement are typically offered a 3-6 month contract. Candidates wishing to complete the 6-week programme but don't intend to go for the job interview should let us know at the time of booking.

CocoBrew is run by award-winning barista and coffee bar manager, Tony Devito. Tony has many years’ experience managing and delivering his Temple Bar coffee experience for his urban clientele both in his cafés and mobile café van. CocoBrew is an innovative and eco-friendly coffee bean distributor, manufacturer and coffee emporium. CocoBrew will add to its portfolio by running the in-house café at BSC Dublin’s new premises, Ulysses House, from February 2019.
We are honoured to have Tony and his crew providing first class instruction on our premises from procuring the bean to making the perfect coffee in-house. Students on the Ready for Work Programme will receive training from Tony and his team during the course. 2-week (unpaid) placements are available to successful candidates both at Ulysses House and in Temple Bar. Candidates will be offered paid employment on successful completion of the course.

The Gibson Hotel
The Gibson Hotel is a member of the Dalata hotel group, Ireland’s largest hotel operator with a current portfolio of 38 hotels.
The hotel is located in the heart of Dublin city and Dublin port in the IFSC – the International Financial Services Centre, just a 5-minute walk from BSC Dublin.
