English courses for exams
At British Study Centres we offer a wide range of examination courses to suit every need and level. Please note: We provide information on how, when and where to enrol for IELTS, TOEIC and TOEFL exams in London, Oxford and Brighton in our downloads section.
Cambridge Exams Preparation
Cambridge Exams are offered at both First Certificate and Advanced level. Courses start three times per year, in January, March and September and last for 10 weeks (January) or 12 weeks (March and September).
IELTS Preparation Courses
Our IELTS courses have weekly start dates and last for a minimum of 2 weeks. IELTS (International English Language Testing Service) is especially popular with students who plan to study at university in the UK, either for a first degree or a Master's.

TOEIC/TOEFL Preparation Courses
Our TOEIC/TOEFL courses also have weekly start dates and include a combination of group General English classes and 2 private lessons per week in which you can focus on perfecting your examination skills. The TOEIC test measures how well students can communicate in English with others in the global workplace and has a strong 'Business' focus. The TOEFL exam (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) is requested by American universities for students wishing to attend full-time courses and concentrates on English in an academic context.
