While you’re at BSC you can go on weekend trips with other students to places such as Edinburgh, Bath and Stonehenge, and even to mainland Europe. You can choose to organise it with your friends, or you can go on one of the organised trips that run every weekend. Going on an organised trip can save you money if you are going to farther away places such as Edinburgh and Europe. Last weekend we decided to go to Cambridge, which is one of the most popular places to visit in the south east of England…

One of the great things about studying in the UK is that it’s so easy to travel around and see Europe. Most of the well known cities, including Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, Athens (and others), can be reached within 2-3 hours’ and the price of an airfare can be less than £60 return.
