Manuel, who recently completed our English Plus Cooking course in London

Our English Plus Cooking course takes place in London and Brighton. If you are passionate about cooking and want to be inspired, or you would simply like to learn to prepare meals, our course is perfectly suited to this. Furthermore, you will have an extra opportunity to practise your English after class in a cooking context. Each lesson has a different theme, including: Chop, Dice & Slice, Thai Curry, Bouillabaisse, Perfect Steak, Pasta Master and American-Style Chilli.

Manuel, from Spain has been studying our English plus Cookery course in London. We recently caught up with him to find out what delicious dishes they’ve been cooking up and some of the highlights of the course:

All the lessons are so good. I have learnt a lot. The place where you have the course is beautiful, and the staff are very professional and friendly -- they make you feel like one of them. If you love cooking, you must go.

In the lesson about Mexican Food Street you can learn how to cook beef with many different sauces, spices and vegetables, and also tasty Mexican bread. If you like spicy food, this is your lesson.

The Pasta Master is a lesson about how you can make your own pasta like spaghetti, tagliatelle…and different kind of sauces, and then, at the end of the lesson you can eat your own food, it’s fantastic.

Perfect Steak was a lesson which you learn, practically and theoretically, to cook the different parts of the cow and see how they taste. I learnt a lot with this lesson, I loved it.

Another class was called Knife and Soup and this one was my favourite because the teacher taught us how to cut with all kinds of knives and use them with vegetables, beef, chicken… In the same class you cook a delicious soup and a fresh salad.
