Visit to Christchurch

Bookmark and Share

Christchurch is an amazing town to visit, as shown by the fact that more than 30 students came on our trip last week. There is some beautiful coastline and the town itself has a large number of things to see including two castles, a mill, a priory, a medieval bridge and there are two rivers running through it. It was also the site of a large battle in 1645. Christchurch is a popular tourist destination and has over 1.5 million visitors per year and we were given a tour around all the sights including the famous docks, castle, priory, mill and a beautiful lake as well.

Christchurch is really close to Bournemouth, but we have many more trips every weekend to keep you busy! This month the school will be making trips to Oxford, London, Bath and Stonehenge and you can also take trips all over Europe (please see the school reception for details). Also, why not come with us to see the Jurassic Coast which is just a stone’s throw away from Bournemouth!
