Roberta with fellow intern, Valentina
Hello everyone! My name is Roberta and I’m one of the three Autumn Interns at British Study Centres Brighton. I started this adventure fifteen weeks ago; I still remember my first day here. I was so scared but soon I realised that every member of the staff was absolutely kind and happy to help me with any kind of problem.
Now that I have just a few more days left of my internship I think that its time to do a sum-up of this experience…so what could I say??? Maybe that it has been absolutely enjoyable! I work in the school shop and, let me say it, it’s maybe the most interesting place in which you can do an internship…There you can speak with the students, give them information and help them, or well, I hope I did it! I also help in some tasks for the Social Organiser and, once again, what better opportunity to improve your English that spend some time with the other guys of the school? Every week I’ve had the opportunity to try new and interesting activities with the students…and of course I had a lot of fun!
So what better way could you find to join a work experience with the learning of a language?
Oh, just one more thing….I would like to thank all the members of the staff but the most special thanks goes to my two tutors inside the school, so thank you all for this amazing experience!
