Students Choose UNICEF As School’s Charity For The Year

Students Choose UNICEF As School’s Charity For The Year
Bookmark and Share

At BSC Brighton our students took part in a presentation competition to decide our main charity for 2011. The students worked in groups and applied their new English language skills to present to the school. Six groups presented their own thoughts covering the work of their charity. It was an educational and fun event that everyone really enjoyed.

UNICEF was the chosen charity. This will be BSC Brighton’s main charity for 2011. The winning presentation won over the crowd and was delivered to the audience with great detail and knowledge.  We donate to charity from our red and yellow card initiative (only English speaking in school). Money is also donated from people scanning and photocopying in the school. We’re looking forward to some fun events this year that will bring in more donations.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the presentations and helped to decide the winner!

UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation protecting the rights of children and young people. Around the world, children’s rights are being denied daily, including in emergencies such as natural disasters and conflict.
