Here at British Study Centres Oxford we are giving our staff and students the opportunity to declare their undying love for…corned beef pasties. On the Valentine’s Day Wall of Hearts, we are writing down something we love on a red or pink heart and sticking it on the wall for all to see! Some are less conventional; one reads: ‘I love myself’, another says ‘I love my bed’ and some show our staff and students’ softer sides: ‘I love my husband’- Dita the teacher and ‘I love my dog’- Sam the teacher. Simon, Head of Student Services, made an uncharacteristic display of affection for his ‘Student Services girls’, followed by the clause ‘sometimes, only occasionally’. Miguel has the right idea though, with his love of ‘the reception girls!’
