WHY BRITISH STUDY CENTRES?

My main reason to do go abroad was to improve my knowledge in the marketing area in order to get better work opportunities. Therefore I decided to do a Master Degree in Marketing, but before that, I thought I had to improve my English. So I looked for an English School in London.

After analysing all the school options my agency in Brazil sent had sent me and my friends I was still felling that none of those options were right for me. So I researched on the web and I found BSC.

I read everything about the school in the website and I was amazed about it. The location is perfect, Hanna House is close to Oxford Street and Baker Street. Bond Street and Baker Street stations are just 5 minutes walk from the school. London is a very big city and the right place to be is in the centre of the town. Zone 1 is certainly the best area and if you walk around you can easily find some of the London’s most famous sightseeing and the best places to shop.

The teachers and all the staff are fantastic! They always have a smile in their faces and are willing to help you with any problem. The school have an advanced teaching methodology and special programs develop for every level of learning. The common areas such as the library, the internet zone and the Hanna Café are great; the structure -- classroom, lecture theatre -- are nice and comfortable, and the social activities, such as the Pub Night or the Summer Boat Party are fun and the best option to know other students.

WHERE TO LIVE?

As a student, you have some accommodation options to choose such as: Homestay, Students House, Students Residence or look for a place by yourself.

I chose to live in a student residence, and now I know that it was the best decision for me. Residences are usually placed in a typical English house. It provides university-style rooms, which can be single, double or triple. You can also choose some facilities such as central location, en-suite studios, meal plans or self-catering.

The best part of living in these residences is that you meet other students, from different parts of the world, who are sharing the same experience as you. Today during breakfast I have just talked with students from Spain, Italy, French, Korea, Turkey and even from England and also learned something about their culture and language. Some of these residences promote social activities and have common areas for the residents spend some time together.

Homestay accommodation can also be a good experience, because you will have the opportunity to live with an English family and life their way of life.
