The murder makes Velma a real showbiz celebrity. Meanwhile the aspiring singer Roxie Hart, dreams with glamour and fame. When her lover decides to leave her, she kills him in the middle of a fight. Billy takes both cases and explores them to the maximum in the newspaper. Roxie becomes even more famous than Velma, and the two begin a battle to become the biggest celebrity in the city.

The story is also available on film, originally released by Miramax Films in December 2002, it had a 40 million dollars budget. Won 6 Oscars in 2003, including Best Picture.
