New Class Video: Radio Advertisements – Speaking And Listening Lesson

Bookmark and Share

Here we have a special new video from the teachers and students at British Study Centres in London! The pre-intermediate class is creating radio advertisements for an imaginary product.

They seem to be having a lot of fun planning and organizing the ‘ads’!

At the start of the video Dan, their teacher, explains the purpose of the lesson, which is to practise speaking and pronunciation. In addition, students plan and organize the radio advertisement together and have to negotiate with each other.

The video shows the students working together and, of course, the final advertisements. It also shows the use of ’sound stages’, which is a way of improving their speaking.

Thanks to the teacher, Dan Atherton, and the students for their excellent advertisements! More videos to come soon!
