New Class Video: Reading the news!

Bookmark and Share

We have just received some new classroom videos of students in London! In these videos students are reading and filming the news for TV. Their teacher, Dan Atherton, has given them several pictures and they needed to come up with news stories for each of them. Then they wrote the script and finally presented it while being filmed. Finally they presented it a second time to improve on any mistakes.

It is a completely student led exercise and so builds confidence- as you can see the video is very well done! The point for the lower-intermediate level students is to practice organizing and negotiating in English. According to Dan everyone enjoyed it and found it useful.

Thanks to the presenter, Sef (France) and reporters Kristina (Russia), Chong Hoong (Korea), Andres (Colombia) and Choy (Korea) for the performance!
