When we all arrived in front of the pub, we just didn’t know what to expect from this walk ; will it be frightening or not? Or will it only be fairy tales ? It was not. Actually, the Lanes are Brighton’s most haunted quarter !
As we were having a drink in the Druids Head pub, we saw a man with a black overcoat and a top hat, walking towards us. It was Rob Marks, our storyteller. And so we began the walk.
The first stop was at Brighton Town Hall, this building harbours several disturbing apparitions -- particularly in its cellars, where a brutal murder once took place.
The next one was in the Old Stein, which was once an area of common land close to the old town, but it is now haunted by the spirit of a horrifically mutilated man.
The storyteller makes these stories really passionate, and sometimes really frightening!
And we stopped at different places around the Lanes, and if you want to know more about it, join us the next time!
