Claudia, the summer social activities organizer for London, has just sent in these pictures of a trip to the ‘London Eye’. The ‘London Eye’ is a famous London landmark and is visible from many positions in central London. In case you don’t know, it is like a giant fairground Ferris wheel that turns around very slowly. From each capsule you get a magnificent view over the whole of London.
One of the benefits (or perhaps the main benefit) of studying a language abroad is the opportunity to practice outside of class. British Study Centres English language schools have social activities and are a good time to practice speaking and get to know the sights and culture at the same time.
More activities in London, Oxford and Brighton to come…
