BSC Goes To Mount Everest!

BSC Goes To Mount Everest!

As part of British Study Centres’ mission to teach English to the world, Richard Turnball, an English teacher from the English language school in Brighton travels to Asia, to Nepal and Mount Everest base camp…

As you can see in the photo here, he made it to Everest in his BSC T-shirt but complained “it was mainly uphill, so it was a bit tiring”! Richard met some climbers who went to the top including Sir Ranulph Fiennes, a famous British climber, and hopes one day to follow in their footsteps.

Richard also visited some English schools in Nepal and saw how English can be taught with limited resources and classes of 80 students! If you see Richard in one of our schools, I’m sure he would love to show you the 2000+ photos he took!
