Hi!! My name is Yukiko and I’m from Japan. I like to study English and love Oxford. This is my sixth time coming back to study English at BSC Oxford. When I came here the first time, I was a student of university. I studied English here for 3 weeks and it was fantastic!! That’s why I came back here even though I have a job in Japan and it’s difficult for me to take long holidays. I always use my short holidays to come back here to enjoy myself. If you want to study English and are searching where you should go, I highly recommend here, BSC Oxford. You can feel happy anytime and everywhere like me.

The school is located in the centre of Oxford. This city has a beautiful nature and lots of historical things. Not only that but there are also various shops around school. In the night, there are many nightclubs, pubs and bars. You never feel bored. When you want to go for a short trip, you just go to the coach station which is near the school. The transport systems are convenient. If you want to go to London, you just get on a coach. It takes about 1 hour and an amazing thing is you can get on it every 15 minute.

And also the accommodations are perfect. I chose to stay with a host family. It was fantastic and I had a lovely time. They accept me that I’m a part of their family. You can communicate with them, and realise that your English skills are improved naturally.

I think BSC is a really good place to study English. All teachers are very experienced. Class is useful. Sometimes, you can learn English skills by playing games. You can have fun and improve your skills at the same time!! During class, you can feel free to ask a question whenever you need. Your teacher will help and support you to understand.

A class is made from different nationalities which means you have to use English. It’s very helpful to improve your English skills. But don’t worry about it. A class unifies students' English level. Or you can join various social activities organised by the school every day. On the weekend, there are short trips as well.

Now, I can stay here just for 10 days because of my job. But, thanks to the support of the school staff, I can learn a lot of things at school, in the house, and everywhere. I want to say thank you to them for their very kind support and to the teachers who gave me study advice. They are so friendly, helpful and full of hospitality. It’s unforgettable.

I have heard about BSC from my friends who were here before and I am very happy that I made decision to choose British Study Centres Oxford. I met loads of foreign people and I noticed that I improved my English and especially my ability to communicate with the other students.

I finished my University in my country in 2008 and I've been thinking it would be important to be able to speak English fluently to get a job and to know a different culture. After two months researching about the best way to learn English, to travel, and also, make new friends, I chose to live in UK.

When I decided to leave my job and my parents to come to Oxford, some friends were worried about my choice, because I was working in a big company as a trainee and I had my own flat, so I was independent. But I knew that this experience would be very important for me.

I've been living in Oxford since February 2009. This is my first international trip and since I arrived here, I've been discovering a lot of things about British people, culture, habits, urban myths that make up the atmosphere in this really amazing city! Oxford isn't just museums and colleges! Parks, pubs, libraries and a social life are waiting for you every day!

British Study Centres has good teachers and student services resources that work hard to help you every day, each moment. Actually, I'm very happy to have chosen this school to improve my skills. Also, BSC offers several opportunities to improve your knowledge, with extra activities in the weekdays after the classes or trips to visit countries close to England on holidays and weekends.

Hi, I'm Nick. I come from Georgia. I've been studying at BSC for a year and a half. The first time I arrived at this school I was at elementary level but thanks to the excellent teachers I've made great progress and moved up to an advanced class. Thank you!

This year I am going on to study a master's in international relations at Brookes University and I couldn't have done it without BSC. Again, thank-you very much. The best thing about the school is that having extremely friendly and attentive staff makes students like to learn everything.

It is a nice place to stay and study. The school has good social activities. Oxford itself is a beautiful city with lots of old houses and museums. The nightlife is also very good and there are lots of lovely people around. I can safely say that there is never a dull moment at BSC and in Oxford respectively.

I have studied at British Study Centres for three months and it has been an amazing experience. Not only have I learnt a lot of useful English (and I mean the 'real' English I expected to learn) but I have also made lots of really good friends. In fact, the atmosphere in the school is like a huge group of friends! On top of that, I have attended many of the different activities the school organises, all of them great experiences to get to know the British culture. Never learning English has been so funny!

It is difficult to sum up in few words my three months studying at the British Study Center but I would say: efficient preparation for an official exam, learning useful real English in context, getting immerse in the British culture by means of the activities the school organises and making unforgettable friends from all over the world. And all this in such a beautiful city as Oxford. What can I say? I just don't want to leave!

First of all I would like to say that it was a great honour to be asked to write this testimonial by one of the best English teachers in world - Sam!

I have taken four weeks of IELTS preparation course in Oxford. The course is designed as test preparation, but suits many students with goals to increase their vocabulary or feel more confident which tense to use. Overall the course has been a great experience. The classes were challenging, but each one of us was able to learn so much of it! The time which Sam leaves for communication and discussion is just perfect opportunity to share and listen to opinions. I am very grateful to Sam for the great time we had during her class! Plus any question about Oxford I had was answered by her!

I spent 4 weeks at the British Study Centre in Oxford and had a great time! The IELTS preparation course was the best language course I`ve ever done, because it really prepared me for my exam and also for my studies at university, looking in detail at academic writing and reading as well as listening and speaking.

It was not just the material our teacher had chosen, but also the way she made the lessons interesting every single day. Being a very caring person, she was always willing to help us with any kind of problems and corrected our voluntarily written pieces very quickly!

It is with immense affection and gratitude that I write about my experience as a student at British Study Centres Oxford. 2004 was my first time in England as an exchange student in the Group of Studies promoted by the Rotary International Foundation. Some years later, motivated by the experience, the desire to return to England to take an English course and expand my personal and professional experience has led me to plan this special trip for over a year! I can say to you who are reading this that with the competent guidance of Egali Agency of Santa Maria (a town near mine), I actually made the best choices: to study at British Study Centres and to live in Oxford!

British Study Centres in Oxford is very welcoming and attentive from the first moment you arrive when everyone is filled with doubts and anxieties. I would like to highlight that, in addition to the dynamic and qualified teachers and lessons that involve students in the process of learning English, I also loved the events, trips and cultural excursions that the school promoted and I tried to participate in everything possible and that made all the difference in my learning. In addition, I participated actively in the Music Club, Book Club, Film Club, promoted by the school at no charge, which motivated me me to improve my English.

Generally speaking, I'd like to thank deeply all the staff of British Study Centres Oxford. Be sure that you will be in my best memories forever, because you all helped me and made all the difference in one of the greatest personal and professional projects I have ever had in life: to study English in England, the country that I both admire and respect.
