I am absolutely thrilled to have joined BSC Oxford, which is one of the finest schools I have ever seen. As well as our excellent facilities and in-class technology, we are proud to have an extremely well qualified team of teachers and trainers who will help you to make the most of your time with us.

Emma, Head of Student Services
Hello my name's Emma and I'm Head of Student Services here at BSC Oxford.
I really enjoy the happy friendly atmosphere that working at BSC brings. Here at BSC Oxford we are like a big family! We believe it's important for our students to get the most from their stay, so the Student Services team is here to help you from your first enquiry, to your arrival, throughout your stay and right up until you leave.
There is no question that is too silly or too difficult for us so please come and ask! We are here to help you.
Having lived in Oxford my whole life I know all the best tourist spots, and the interesting places only locals will know about, so come to me if you want to explore Oxford. There is so much to offer from beautiful countryside and buildings to pubs and clubs and live music venues, whatever your interest is we can find something for you.
I am looking forward to welcoming you soon!
Lisa, Student Services Officer
Hello, my name is Lisa and I work in the student services team here at the Oxford school. I have been working with students from all over the world and of all ages for 9 years and thoroughly enjoy experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.
I coordinate the social programmes here at BSC, arranging lots of fun activities that allow students to explore the beautiful city of Oxford and learn all about its history, while making new friends. There is a new activity organised for each day, so there is something for everyone. But I am open to new ideas, so feel free to stop by and make a request.
I look forward to meeting and working with you soon.
Sophia, Student Services Officer
Hi, I'm Sophia, one of the later additions to BSC Oxford. I joined the team in May 2011, after working several years in Further Education.
I look after all the EU bookings and enquiries, and just generally work to give our students the best Oxford learning experience. I have enjoyed my time here so far, and look forward to the months ahead.
I have always enjoyed working with students. The difference now, is that I get to meet students from across the globe, and I love it. It feeds my interest in cultural differences, and as a bonus I can improve my geography.
I moved to the UK in 2003, from the remote British Island of St Helena, in the South Atlantic, and I have made Oxford my home away from home since. Oxford is just so charming!
Rebecca, Accommodation Officer
Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I joined the BSC Oxford team prior to the summer of 2012. I moved from Australia in 2009 and lived in London for two years before deciding to move to Oxford in 2011. It was the best decision I have ever made. I love Oxford, I love the history and I love the culture of this wonderful city.
Working as a part of the Accommodation team with my colleague Alice, is a rewarding experience. Not only do we get to work in one of the most attractive and exciting cities of the world, but we get to meet people from all corners of the globe on a daily basis. This is what makes my job so great!
I am here to help you settle into your new life in Oxford. I can help you deal with the cultural shock of living in someone else's family home and also to point you in the right direction if you are looking for things to do! I work closely with our wonderful host families, so that we can make you feel like Oxford is your home away home. Feel free to pop your head into the office and say hi!
Alice, Accommodation Officer
Hi, my name is Alice and I am originally from Germany. I decided to move to the UK after finishing my degree in English and Linguistics.
I started working for BSC as an intern during the summer of 2011 and came back to take the position as an Accommodation Officer in September 2012.
I really enjoy working and living in Oxford as it offers me such a great opportunity to experience a vibrant multicultural environment in an extraordinarily beautiful city. I love learning about new cultures and I guess there is no better place to do so than in an international language school in the city centre of Oxford! I am here to take care of our student houses and to ensure that you feel comfortable with the accommodation you booked. Come and speak to me if you need some advice on student accommodation in Oxford or if you wish to live in one of our beautiful student houses.
Outside of work I love the simple things in life such as reading an exciting book, cooking a nice dish or going for a walk with my friends' dogs. I also thoroughly enjoy live music of any kind of which there is plenty in and around Oxford which makes the city even more attractive to me!
Cressy, Student Services Officer
Hi, my name's Cressy.
I graduated from Royal Holloway University of London last year and have since been travelling and teaching English as a foreign language in Thailand and Oxford.
I have worked at Summer schools in Oxford for the past 4 years as an Activities Leader; the role involved coordinating sports and arts activities, planning and supervising excursions to London and Stratford, and organising social events for foreign students from across the world.
I have lived in Oxford all my life and so have a good knowledge of the best places to visit- whether you want to know what sites to see in the city, or where the best restaurants, bars and pubs are to suit your taste, please come to me for any advice. I deal with all the visa bookings as well as ensuring students enjoy their Oxford experience to the full.
Theatre and Film are great passions of mine. I love to sing (although not always very well...) and act - I've been in many productions at University and I try to see as many shows as possible in Oxford, London and Stratford.
BSC Oxford is a fantastic school, situated in the heart of the beautiful, historic city - I guarantee you a great time here and I look forward to meeting you soon!
George, Coffee Shop Manager
Hello, my name is Jorge (George), I'm from Peru and I'm in charge of the Coffee Shop at BSC Oxford. I have been working here for almost one year and thanks to our social activities programme I show the students how to enjoy and have fun during their stay here.
The coffee shop is where all the students meet during break times to have a chat and relax for a bit. For this reason, it is a great opportunity to get in contact with people from all over the world and know more about their cultures.
I love music, but especially Latin music and dancing Salsa. I'm a positive and outgoing person, I love travelling and listening music everywhere!
If you fancy a hot drink, pop into the shop to say hello!
