Borough Market & Boat Trip

London's South Bank is a vibrant and unique area of the city boasting landmarks and places of interest. It is home to Borough Market, one of the oldest markets in London selling a large variety of high-quality foods from all around the world. Perhaps the best way to have a grasp of the whole area is to take a boat trip along the river bank. Join us for a delightful afternoon at the market and enjoy truly unforgettable views of London's landscape from the boat afterwards!

The Thames Boat Party

Yet another great boat party! Over 200 British Study Centres students, teachers and admin staff got together to enjoy the trip along the Thames, a few drinks and the beautiful evening!

BSC London Social Programme March 2010

Living in England gives students the perfect chance to experience British culture and practice their English. We have an extensive social programme that is designed to let students get the most out of their stay here.

We provide our students with a monthly social programme at the beginning of each month. A typical month may include trips to the cinema, a boat party on the River Thames, a visit to the Houses of Parliament, a visit to the BBC or a picnic or sports afternoon in Regent's Park. A small charge (£3 - £10) is made for some activities, others are free of charge. Weekend trips are also available to places of interest, such as Bath and Stonehenge, Cambridge, Oxford and even Paris, Scotland or Amsterdam.
